Rowing ranked inside top-20 for first time

Women’s basketball beats Vanderbilt in first round of SEC

Alabama was led by senior Shaquera Wade, who scored a career-high 26 points shooting 9-of-17 from the field. Wade scored her 1,000th point, along with grabbing nine rebounds. Following her was sophomore Jasmine Walker with 22 points going 3-of-3 from behind the arc.

Women’s basketball defeats Ole Miss in final home game

In the final home game of the season, Alabama women's basketball defeated Ole Miss in a low scoring affair, 46-43. With the win, the Crimson Tide improves to 13-15 (5-10 SEC), while the Rebels fall to 9-20 (3-12 SEC).

Alabama's freshman guard, De'Sha Benjamin, suffered a season-ending injury during Sunday's overtime loss to Georgia, 76-67. Benjamin broke her foot during the fourth quarter and never returned to the game.

Women’s basketball falls to Georgia on senior night

From the start, it was a back-and-forth battle. There were seven lead changes and eight ties throughout the game.  Both offenses came out shooting, and after a 13-10 lead by Georgia after the first media stoppage, Alabama rallied back to take a 19-18 lead into the second quarter.

Women’s basketball bounces back with win over Vanderbilt

Sophomore Jasmine Walker had 18 points and 12 rebounds making it her fourth double-double of the season and sophomore Ariyah Copeland had 11 points, and 10 rebounds to get her third double-double of the season.

Alabama women’s basketball is preparing for its second exhibition match of the preseason against Mississippi College. Last week, the team defeated Faulkner 100-44. In a game where the Crimson Tide had five different players in double digits and showed depth on the bench outscoring Faulkner’s bench 51-23, but that wasn’t the case during practice. The team's bench lacked consistency.
