No. 5 softball continues winning streak on Friday

No. 5 Alabama remained a perfect 18-0 after defeating Michigan State, 2-1 and Southern Miss, 3-2. Kaylee Tow was the catalyst for the offense. In the two games combined, she hit 3-for-5 with four RBI’s. In game one, her two RBI double was all Alabama needed to beat the Spartans.

Guerra’s career night propels Alabama to win over Auburn

Three tenths of a point (196.7 to 196.4) was the final victory margin for the Crimson Tide. If Guerra had merely matched her career high in the three events she competed in, Alabama would have lost. Instead, she scored a career-high 9.95 in all three.

Women’s basketball defeats Ole Miss in final home game

In the final home game of the season, Alabama women's basketball defeated Ole Miss in a low scoring affair, 46-43. With the win, the Crimson Tide improves to 13-15 (5-10 SEC), while the Rebels fall to 9-20 (3-12 SEC).

Women’s rowing team eager for strong start to season

About a week after the end of the 2018 Big 12 Championships, Alabama rowing coach Larry Davis announced he would step down as head coach. He had been the only coach in program history and moved the team from a club to a Division I team.

Benjamin to miss rest of season

Alabama's freshman guard, De'Sha Benjamin, suffered a season-ending injury during Sunday's overtime loss to Georgia, 76-67. Benjamin broke her foot during the fourth quarter and never returned to the game.
