Alabama looks for revenge in final home game against Auburn

When Alabama and Auburn (20-9, 9-7 SEC) met earlier this season, the Tigers dealt the Crimson Tide its worst loss of the season, an 84-63 beating. That game, which was out of hand before halftime, has haunted Alabama’s players since, according to forward John Petty Jr.

On a normal gameday, an American flag and the 2012 National Championship flag wave above Alexis Osorio’s picture and number.On Courtney Gettins’ senior day, a different flag appeared as both teams were lined up along the first and third base lines. The New Zealand flag replaced the American flag and the New Zealand national anthem began to play.

Alabama rowing wins big against Eastern Michigan in first race of the season

The Alabama rowing team began its spring season winning 15 out of 16 races in both the 1,000 and  2,000-meter pieces over Eastern Michigan Saturday on the Black Warrior River.

Tide loses control down the stretch, falling to No. 13 LSU at home

The already raucous crowd in Coleman Coliseum was ignited in the second half when Johnson was handed a technical foul for arguing a call. Propelled by the crowd’s furor, which reached a season-high, the Crimson Tide went on a 12-2 run and grabbed the lead.
