The University of Alabama will have nine varsity sports competing this week with three teams competing for championships.
Baseball:
The Alabama baseball team return home to take on the Oregon Ducks Thursday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The Crimson Tide will also host a weekend series against the Houston Cougars starting Friday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. CT. It will play Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. CT and Sunday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m. CT. All four games will air on the SEC Network Plus.
Softball:
The Alabama softball team faces the Samford Bulldogs in Tuscaloosa on Tuesday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. CT in a game that will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
The Crimson Tide will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to take on the LSU Tigers for a weekend series starting Friday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m. CT. It will play Saturday, March 12 at 5:00 p.m. CT and Sunday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. CT in games that will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
Basketball:
The SEC Championship Tournament for men’s basketball start Wednesday, March 9 and will crown a winner on Sunday, March 13. The Crimson Tide will play Ole Miss Thursday, March 10 at 6:00 p.m. CT for a chance to advance to the next round and face the Kentucky Wildcats Friday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m. CT. The tournament will take place in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The first three rounds will be broadcast on the SEC Network and the semifinals and final round will be broadcast on ESPN.
Men’s Golf:
The Alabama men’s golf team will travel to Las Vegas to compete in the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters. The tournament will start Monday, March 7 and conclude Wednesday, March 9.
Rowing:
The Alabama rowing team will travel to Oak Ridge, Tennessee to take part in the Cardinal Invitational Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13.
Swimming & Diving:
The Alabama Swimming and Diving team will continue to compete in the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships in Atlanta Monday, March 7 and Tuesday, March 8.
Men’s Tennis:
The Alabama men’s tennis team will take on the Tennessee Volunteers in Tuscaloosa on Friday, March 11 at 5:00 p.m. CT. On Sunday, March 13, the Crimson Tide will face the Kentucky Wildcats at 1:00 p.m. CT before facing The Citadel at 5:00 p.m. CT. Both matches will take place in Tuscaloosa.
Women’s Tennis:
The Alabama women’s tennis team will travel to Athens, Georgia Friday, March 11 to face the Georgia Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. CT. The Crimson Tide will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee for a match against the Tennessee Vols Sunday, March 13 at 12:00 p.m. CT.
Indoor Track & Field:
The Alabama Indoor Track and Field team will travel to Birmingham for the NCAA Indoor Championships on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12.
