On Monday, Nick Saban spoke to the media about the need to make improvements ahead of Alabama’s showdown with No. 15 Ole Miss.
Quarterback play is one of the areas Saban mentioned in his press conference, but the quarterbacks remained inconsistent during the media viewing period.
Practice Notes:
- The quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends each split up into two groups to work on passing drills.
- Short throws looked sharp, but long throws were occasionally overthrown. When longer passes were on target receivers had several drops.
- Several players in the tight end line wore No. 17 jerseys to simulate Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram.
- In the linebacker line, several players wore No. 4 jerseys to simulate Ole Miss linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche.
