One day after receiving votes in the AVCA national preseason poll, the Alabama volleyball team has been ranked second in the SEC in the league’s preseason coaches poll, according to a UA release.
The Crimson Tide received one first place vote and 127 points overall, while redshirt junior Krystal Rivers made the preseason all-SEC team for the second consecutive year. Florida debuted at No. 1 in the poll, garnering 144 total points and 12 first place votes after winning the league last season.
Alabama returns every starter from a team that recorded a school-record 26 wins, the first NCAA Tournament win in program history and the first win over a ranked opponent in program history.
