Alabama baseball split a doubleheader with No. 14 Missouri on Saturday afternoon. The Crimson Tide claimed game one 6-0 but fell 5-3 in game two. Freshman Jake Walters pitched a career-high 7.0 scoreless innings in the day’s first game, his first career SEC start, allowing seven hits while striking out five across a career-high 107 pitches for the win. Alabama led early in game two, but four home runs by Missouri proved to be the downfall for the Crimson Tide in the series’ second game.
