Alabama basketball player Levi Randolph was named the program’s first Academic All-American. Randolph was selected to the 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America Second Team, announced on Thursday. Randolph earned his undergraduate degree in marketing in August with a 3.45 GPA. In all, 15 men’s basketball players from across the country earned the accolade, with five student-athletes each on the first, second and third teams.
