Ronnie Harrison was named SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week after Alabama’s defense only gave up 10 points against LSU. The selection is the first of Harrison’s three-year career at Alabama.
Harrison made one of the bigger plays against LSU. When dropped in to coverage against running back Derrius Guice, Harrison read the eyes of the quarterback and jumped a pass for an interception. The play gave Alabama the ball in LSU territory.
Harrison also added six tackles, half a sack and half a tackle for loss. He had a big game when Minkah Fitzpatrick went out with a hamstring injury, and led the secondary to a good performance.
