WHAT: Fall GOBD, which is a part of Week of Welcome, is a tabling event that will feature representatives from numerous campus clubs and student organizations.
WHEN: Fall GOBD will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 5-9 p.m.
The event was originally planned for Thursday, August 31, but was postponed due to the threat of inclement weather.
WHERE: Tables will be set up in and around the Ferguson Center Plaza and Crimson Promenade.
WHO: Various campus clubs and organizations will host information tables at Get On Board Day. All University of Alabama students are invited to the event.
WHY: For incoming and current students who are seeking a way to connect on campus, fall GOBD is the perfect opportunity to get information about the diverse assortment of student clubs and organizations that exist at the University of Alabama.
“For any student who wishes to get more actively engaged with campus, GOBD can provide a springboard for getting connected to hundreds of organizations, community vendors, and departments which are housed on the UA campus,” according to The Source’s website about the event. “This event is one of the single most important ways that our students connect to all that we have to offer. But it is not the only way! It is just one of the most popular.”
