Alabama continued to practice in the heat on Thursday. Temperature reached 87 degrees during the viewing session of practice.
Practice Notes:
- Calvin Ridley led the wide receivers in a stop and go drill. The drill had the receivers sprint a couple steps and fully stop before resuming the route.
- Damien Harris led the running backs in cut drills. Backs would run a couple of yards then cut either to the left or the right.
- Jalen Hurts led the quarterbacks in a three-step drop pass from shot gun.
- Defensive backs worked on open field tackles and breaking up passes by high pointing the ball.
