No. 6 Alabama softball fell 3-2 to No. 1 Florida in Gainesville on Saturday.
Alabama (30-7, 4-4 SEC) had six hits in the loss. Freshman catcher Reagan Dykes drove in both runs with a two-run home run. Six of the nine batters in the lineup came up with a hit, two of which came in the top of the seventh.
Sophomore right-hander Alexis Osorio (8-5) took the loss after pitching six innings. She allowed three runs on six hits, including a solo home run to tie the game 2-2 in the fourth inning. She struck out eight and hit two batters in the loss.
The Crimson Tide takes on the Gators (34-2, 9-2 SEC) in the rubber match Sunday at noon CT.
