In a game that came down to the wire, Arkansas narrowly edged out Alabama, 69-67. After Alabama sophomore Meoshonti Knight hit a three to tie the game at 67, Arkansas freshman Jordan Danberry pulled her team ahead, scoring with seven seconds left on its clock.

The Razorbacks would hold onto the lead and improve to 11-15 overall and 6-7 in SEC play. Alabama now falls to 14-12 overall and 3-10 in conference match ups. Sophomore Hannah Cook led the way with 24 points, tying her career high. Sophomore Quanetria Bolton was right behind her, scoring 19 points while also grabbing nine rebounds.

After a back-and-fourth first quarter, Alabama went on a scoring drought spanning over four minutes, allowing Arkansas to go up 24-16. The Crimson Tide put together a run to get right back into the game, only trailing by four going into halftime, 32-28.

Alabama continued to hang around in the third quarter and would eventually take the lead off of a three pointer shot by Cook, making it 51-48 at the end of the third. 

After, Arkansas jumped out with a fourth-quarter six-point lead.

Alabama fought back once again to tie the game with 13 seconds left on the clock. Danberry then gave Arkansas the late two-point lead, and Alabama had the ball with seven seconds left. Alabama put up two shot attempts, but neither fell.

Alabama returns back home for a home match-up, facing off with No. 3 South Carolina on Feb. 22 at 6 pm CT.
