Before the Alabama football team kicks off for the Cotton Bowl this evening at 7 p.m. on ESPN, fans can get a taste of Alabama basketball.
The CBS Sports Network will air a half-hour documentary on basketball coach Avery Johnson at 1 p.m. CT.
“The half-hour program will feature an all-access, behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of the Alabama’s head men’s basketball coach,” said a UA Athletics release. “Johnson will be highlighted in interviews, mic’d up for practice and behind-the-scenes footage from the Tide Tipoff event, among other items.”
The show will re-air on Jan. 2 at 12: 30 a.m., Jan. 7 at 1 midnight and Jan. 8 at 9:30 a.m. All times central.
