ESPN released its picks for the 2015 All-SEC team earlier today, and a few Alabama players made the cut.
The Crimson Tide did not have any selections for the offensive team. On the defensive side of the ball, defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson and linebacker Reggie Ragland made the cut.
Representing Alabama on special teams was Ray Guy award finalist punter JK Scott.
Those three selections were good enough for fourth place. Georgia and LSU both had five selections while Ole Miss was responsible for four players on the list. Alabama plays all three this season.
Arkansas had two players on the list, and seven schools only had a single player make the cut. Vanderbilt and Kentucky were the only schools that were not represented.
Here are a few of the reasons that ESPN said Robinson was “one of the country’s most disruptive linemen.”
