The offense, however, had first-half travails of its own that will likely be overshadowed by The Citadel’s running-game prowess.

Alabama falls to Northeastern in first round of Charleston Classic

John Petty Jr. led Alabama in scoring with 17 points, but the rest of Alabama’s roster had difficulty scoring. As a team, the Crimson Tide shot just 37.3 percent from the field and only 15.8 percent (3-of-19) from beyond the arc.

Women’s basketball signs two guards to 2019 class

The Alabama women basketball team signed two players during the National Letter of Intent early signing period for the 2019 class. The duo is made up of all-state performers Mystique Womack from Marlin, Texas and Destiny Rice out of Shreveport, Louisiana.
