What: Science Sunday – Alabama Biodiversity
Who: Alabama Museum of Natural History
When: Sunday, March 25 at 1-3 p.m.
Where: Grand Gallery of Alabama Museum of Natural History, Smith Hall
Why: This Science Sunday will cover the topic of biodiversity. Over the course of two hours, people of all ages are encouraged to spend time with local groups and organizations. People are also encouraged to participate in the multiple activities that explain the biodiversity of the state.
Education Outreach Coordinator Allie Sorlie said Alabama is a special state thanks to its vast amount of biodiversity.
“This program brings together experts from all over to help tell, to talk, and teach about all of the wonderful flora and fauna that we have not only in our backyard, but throughout the state,” Sorlie said.
