What: Memorial Tribute Service
The University of Alabama is holding a memorial service to honor students who have died this year including: James Mason Berry, Christopher Wayne Dufour, Reid Robison Holshouser, Evan Shahrokh Khodabandeh, Gina Marie Lupo, Harrison James Phillips, and James Dillon Richardson.
Who: All are welcome to attend, especially friends and family of the deceased.
The memorial is being hosted by the Office of the President, the Office of the Dean of Students, and the Student Government Association.
When: Wednesday, Nov. 8, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Where: The President’s Mansion – reception from 3:30-4 p.m.
Gorgas Library, Room 205 – memorial service, 4-4:30 p.m.
Why: The memorial allows the community to remember those who have passed and hear officials from the University give their condolences to the families and friends of the students.Â
