Alabama punter JK Scott earned a pair of weekly honors after his performance against LSU. Scott was named Ray Guy Punter of the Week, and SEC Special Teams Player of the week.
The senior punted eight times for 413 yards, with six of those punts landing inside of the 20 yard line. Scott averaged 51.6 yards per punt. His season average is 42.5 yards, and he’s only had one punt returned this season.
Scott was a large part in Alabama’s 24-10 win over LSU. He switched the field position battle multiple times, and made LSU start backed up on most of its drives.
