What: Halloween Extravaganza.
Trick-or-treaters will have the opportunity to play games and activities with some of the most popular Alabama student athletes. Not only will there be plenty of candy, but there will also be inflatables, a backdrop to take pictures, athletes dressed in costumes, and an appearance from Big Al.
Families with extra canned food items are encouraged to bring them to the event since Beat Auburn Best Hunger will be there to accept donations.
Who: Children ages 13 and under are welcome and encouraged to come in their coolest costumes.
The event is sponsored by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
When: Monday, Oct. 30. 6:30-8 p.m.
Where: Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
Why: “Halloween Extravaganza allows Alabama student athletes the opportunity to give back to the residents of Tuscaloosa, and all the Crimson Tide supporters in the community.” said Joe Suiter, coordinator of life skills and community outreach for the athletics department. “By putting on this event, the student athletes are able to create memorable experiences for all those that attend, and show their gratitude to the supporters of The University of Alabama and its athletic program.”
