Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor has cancelled her visit to the University of Alabama.
According to a press release, weather caused by Hurricane Irma made Sotomayor’s flights impossible.
“The Justice’s staff said that she is disappointed about the cancellation and hopes to reschedule for a future date,” the release read.
Sotomayor was scheduled to speak at the Albritton Lecture hosted by the School of Law on Tuesday.
