“They represent really the fruit of our labor,” said Peter Hlebowitsh, dean of the College of Education. “We have a college that’s dedicated to trying to make a difference in the lives of kids, teachers, families and communities, and these people have done it better than anyone else.”
Hlebowitsh said the biggest accomplishment of the inductees is educating children.
“[Inductees have] a lifetime of significant accomplishment in advancing the educational lives of children, which can be activated through research, through teaching and through simply resource support,” Hlebowitsh said. “That’s basically the bottom line.”
