School boards from all over the state of Alabama will be on campus Wednesday to talk with current students about potential careers in education.
The University Career Center is hosting its third career fair this semester, this time focused on careers in education.
WHO: The University of Alabama Career Center, with 27 employers in attendance.
WHAT: Career fair providing opportunities for networking and pursuing professional goals to students seeking a career in education.
Twenty-seven employers will be in attendance, providing students with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with potential future employers. All students are welcome, including non-education majors who are considering a role as an educator in their current major field.
WHEN: Wednesday, Oct.19 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Opportunities abound for students graduating in December. “The organizations may choose to invite students to interview that day,” according to Amanda Ingram, Career Center director of Operations.
Students are encouraged to register for the free event at career.sa.ua.edu. According to Amanda Ingram, “From 9-10 a.m., students can network with the various organizations that will be present… Interviews will be conducted from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Students wishing to attend must be present for the orientation at 8 a.m.”
