The panel will include Joshua Harvey, senior urban development and non-profit development double major, office aide and event organizer, Capstone International Center, Brittany Groves, student, study abroad participant, Reggie Mitchell, student, Stillman College, Fulbright winner.
Carolina Robinson, director, Education Abroad, will moderate.
When: Tuesday, April 19. 7 p.m. The event will last roughly 90 minutes.
Where: 120 Lloyd Hall.
Why: “Students should come to this event to learn about the advantages of studying abroad and different resources that are available,” Harvey said.
Harvey decided to plan Capstone International’s first forum that was specifically for minority students because when he studied abroad he was shocked by how few minorities were on his trip.
“I thought this was an issue,” Harvey said. “When I came back I wanted to address it.”
