In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings released on Wednesday, the women’s tennis team moved up one spot to No. 11 after defeating Auburn 4-0 on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. Alabama’s No. 1 doubles pairing Maya Jansen and Erin Routliffe, reigning NCAA champions, climbed to No. 2 in the rankings, their highest position of the 2015 season. The pair, one of only three in Alabama history to be ranked No. 2 or higher, compiled a perfect 15-0 record through week nine of the conference season and currently own a 17-1 (8-1 SEC) record for the dual match season.
