Alabama returned to the practice fields to prepare for Saturday’s rivalry contest against Auburn. Several players returned to practice after off weeks and injuries on Saturday.
Running back T.J. Yeldon returned to practice after sitting out last week and Saturday’s contest against Western Carolina. Yeldon led his position group in drills.
Tight end Brian Vogler and running back ArDarius Stewart wore non-contact jerseys. Vogler wore a knee-brace on his right knee, while Stewart had a brace on his left knee. Saban identified both as ‘questionable’ for Saturday’s game with “stretched knee ligaments.”
Amari Cooper was limited in practice after sustaining a bruised knee in Saturday’s game. Cooper should be available for the Iron Bowl and needs only one catch to become the all-time leader in career receptions at Alabama.
Left tackle Cam Robinson was limited in practice after spraining his ankle in Saturday’s game. Austin Shepherd took his spot at left tackle while Grant Hill filled in at right tackle
On defense, A’Shawn Robinson and Denzell Devall were limited in practice. A’Shawn Robinson picked up a knee injury on Saturday, while Devall didn’t play.
