NEW ORLEANS—The Alabama football team held its last full practice of the season in the Superdome ahead of the Sugar Bowl. The team practiced in shells Tuesday afternoon.
Freshman running back Derrick Henry continued to work second in the rotation, behind T.J. Yeldon and ahead of Kenyan Drake. He is expected to get a significant amount of carries against Oklahoma.
Junior Leon Brown worked with the starting offensive line group at right guard. Senior Anthony Steen had shoulder surgery and will miss the game.
Dee Hart and Cyrus Jones were seen as the backups at punt returner, behind Christion Jones.
Alabama will face Oklahoma at 7:30 p.m. CT on Thursday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
