The Gorgas Library will host the University of Alabama Bankhead Visiting Writers’ Series. Dinty W. Moore will be reading today as part of the ongoing series.
Moore, who was awarded the Grub Street Nonfiction Book Prize, will read from his memoir “Between Panic and Desire.
Moore has also written other books, including “The Accidental Buddhist,” “Toothpick Men,” “The Emperor’s Virtual Clothes” and “The Truth of the Matter: Art and Craft Creative Nonfiction.”
Moore will speak at 7:30 p.m. in Gorgas 205.
