Gymnasts reminisce before last home meet

Explosive third inning leads to baseball win

In the first two innings of Alabama baseball’s 8-0 win against North Alabama, the Crimson Tide had chances to break a scoreless tie but failed to score. It had bases loaded in the first inning, while runners on the corners in the second.That trend didn’t continue in the third.

Women’s basketball falls to Georgia on senior night

From the start, it was a back-and-forth battle. There were seven lead changes and eight ties throughout the game.  Both offenses came out shooting, and after a 13-10 lead by Georgia after the first media stoppage, Alabama rallied back to take a 19-18 lead into the second quarter.

Caroline Hardy had a senior day to remember. Her home run propelled Alabama softball to another 5-0 weekend. In that weekend, the Crimson Tide scored 30 runs over the five-game stretch.

Softball stays unbeaten, sweeps on Saturday

It’s the top of the sixth, with Alabama holding a three-run lead after a long rain delay. Junior Krystall Goodman returned to the circle after allowing three runs in the top of the fifth. With Missouri State stealing all of the momentum, the game was in danger of slipping out of Alabama’s hands.With a 2-1 count, Missouri State’s, Kelly Metter, lifted a high fly ball to dead center field. Elissa Brown sprints back and to her right, she tracks the ball, times her jump and snags the ball right above the fence.

Alabama holds on to beat Vanderbilt, stop losing streak

The Crimson Tide was led offensively by Kira Lewis Jr., who had 19 points, just one shy of recording his sixth 20-point game of the season.Donta Hall set the tone early on defense with a monster block on Vanderbilt’s leading scorer Saben Lee. The rejection went viral almost instantaneously.
