Softball picks up home win over Georgia State

This faith has also extended to starting pitcher Krystal Goodman who had another consistent outing for Alabama. Goodman pitched a complete game, allowing one run on two hits and striking out four in her seventh win of the season.

Alabama swimming and diving coach Dennis Pursley retires

During Pursley’s tenure, the Alabama men’s team placed in the top-10 at the NCAA Championships four times, most recently finishing seventh at the 2019 meet. The women’s team has placed at the NCAA National Championships for the past six years.

Howard earns SEC Swimmer of the Year honors

Not only did Howard conclude his season by posting the highest individual finish by an SEC swimmer at the 2019 NCAA Championships (third in the 50 freestyle), but he also anchored Alabama’s NCAA Championship 200 medley relay team.

Kira Lewis Jr. announces decision to stay at Alabama

After considering a departure from the Alabama program, Kira Lewis Jr. announced Monday afternoon that he will remain with the Crimson Tide. The rising sophomore point guard was second on the team in scoring last season averaging 13.5 points per game. He also averaged 2.9 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game.
