Alabama football players were greeted by a pleasantly warm afternoon as they took the practice fields on Wednesday afternoon. The official countdown to A-Day has begun, with only 10 days remaining until the annual spring game.
Notes:
- Tua Tagovailoa threw with a team employee off to the side from the other quarterbacks, who went through their typical warmups before all moved on to practicing handoffs with the running backs.
- Defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski set up four tackling dummies in a square, with another one in the middle. He instructed the D-linemen to hit the dummies from the outside, inside, inside, and outside, respectively, and then to knock over the middle one.
- The rotation for the outside linebackers was slightly different than it has been for most of the spring. For the first time during any media viewing period, Jamey Mosley took the second spot behind Christian Miller, with Terrell Lewis occupying the third spot. Anfernee Jennings remains out for the spring as he recovers from a knee injury.
- The defensive backs continued to practice their dime package. Trevon Diggs and Savion Smith played cornerback. Daniel Wright and Deionte Thompson played safety, while Shyheim Carter and Kyriq McDonald played the slots, also called the star and money positions.
