Newly sworn-in SGA President Casey Nelson released a statement addressing The University of Alabama student body saying she was honored to accept the position and she believes in what SGA does. Nelson has several vacancies in her administration which will need to be filled soon, including Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff.
The new President asked for continued support from the student body for the student government as they move forward.
Nelson said she looks forward to working with and meeting “the many amazing students that comprise our student body,” on campus and through several involvement opportunities like the following open applications in her administration.
