Ajax Diner describes itself as “one of Eli Manning’s favorite restaurants,” so if you’re a Giants fan, be sure to check it out. They’ve been granted the “Best Downhome Soul Food” by Mississippi Magazine three years in a row, along with various local awards. Everything on their lunch menu is under $11, and it’s mostly the same for their dinner menu, excluding the steak options. They’re not open on Sundays, but every other day they’re open from 11:30 a.m to 10 p.m. Your best bet for this weekend is probably Friday night.
