This is the last week of practice before Alabama travels to Arlington, Texas for the first game of the season. Today during media availability most of the team was working against scout teams. One big portion of practice featured the defensive back seven working against a scout team. Linebackers Shaun Dion Hamilton and Reuben Foster joined the five starting defensive backs- Marlon Humphrey, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Eddie Jackson, Hootie Jones and Ronnie Harrison- as the scout team ran plays under the direction of coach Nick Saban. 

Additional Practice Notes:

• The offensive line did drills against a scout team and worked on making calls.
• Offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin worked with the quarterbacks as they threw roll-outs, go routes, slants, motion-screens, and deep in and out comeback routes to the receivers.
• The running backs did their usual high knees drills over bags while holding two footballs.
• The defensive backs began practice with from tackling drills and hands drills before joining the linebackers
