This Friday, progressive funk band Earphunk will go live alongside Little Raine Band at Druid City Music Hall.
Earphunk has been together since 2009 and is based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. Their live shows center on high-energy sets and longer, improvised pieces. The band has previously toured in Alabama with shows in Birmingham at Zydeco early last year.
The band set to release their fourth studio album, Right Where I Belong, through Kickstarter in October. Over the years, the band’s music has evolved further towards a progressive sound. The band can be found on Facebook or at their website, www.earphunk.com.
Performing alongside Earphunk is Little Raine Band, a jam band based out of Birmingham. What sets Little Raine Band apart is its genre, of which the band lists on their website as an “ever-evolving sound.” Each of their songs takes on several genres and mixes them together to fit the band’s style.
Little Raine Band can be found on Facebook, Soundcloud and their website, www.littleraineband.com.
Earphunk and Little Raine Band will be performing at Druid City Music Hall this Friday night at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are on sale on Druid City Music Hall’s website for $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
