Alabama wrapped up its last football practice Friday afternoon indoors before running its second scrimmage on Saturday.
Bo Scarbrough led the running backs in each drill, followed by Damien Harris and Ronnie Clark. They spent their time running through agility drills. Throughout the entire viewing period, each running back had two footballs in his arms in order to improve ball control.
Clark and fellow running back Derrick Gore were both in black, non-contact jerseys.
Additional Practice Notes:
- Defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson has not practiced all week, and Friday was no different. He spent the entire portion of the viewing period off to the side on a stationary bike. Tomlinson was no longer wearing a boot on his right foot, though.
- The quarterbacks, such as Jalen Hurts and Cooper Bateman, threw a variety of passes to the tight ends and wide receivers. Armani Purifoye was busted dropping a pass, but he wasn’t the only wide receiver to do so. There were a couple passes that ended up on the ground throughout the viewing period.
- The tight ends spent the entire viewing period with the quarterbacks. Hale Hentges ran a solid corner route to caught a pass from Bateman. Friday was the sophomore tight end’s birthday, too.
- The offensive linemen, including Bradley Bozeman, worked on their blocking while mixing up drills.
