On Wednesday, SGA President Lillian Roth sent an email to the University of Alabama student body with several announcements about her upcoming administration.
According to the email, over 80 director positions for SGA are open for applicants until April 19. The email outlines the application and interview processes.
Roth also shared what students need to do if they are leaders of organizations that would like to apply for block seating. Information sessions about the process will be held April 21 and 24, according to the email.
The President’s Council was also explained in the message and will consist of student leaders from around campus to bring issues to Roth. She invited all club presidents to a reception on April 25 at 7 p.m. in the Ferguson Student Center’s ballroom.
Lastly, Roth announced Green Week, an effort put forth by her campaign to promote sustainability on campus. It will take place from April 18-22 and will be overseen by the newly created director of Environmental Affairs.
