Running back Derrick Henry will reportedly forego his final season of eligibility with the Crimson Tide and declare for the upcoming NFL Draft Joe Schad reports on behalf of ESPN.
Henry finished the season with 2,219 rushing yards on 395 carries- good for 5.6 yards per carry- and 28 rushing touchdowns.
Earlier this year, he joined former Alabama running back Mark Ingram as the school’s only Heisman Trophy winners.
On Monday, he helped Alabama claim its 16 national championship when he rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns against the Clemson Tigers.
