DALLAS — With the storms that made their way through Alabama on Friday, some people had trouble getting out of the state as roads were flooded from the rain.
Alabama football didn’t have any issues getting out, although the whole team isn’t in Dallas yet. Those from the west and the Dallas area are meeting up with the team but haven’t had any trouble, Alabama coach Nick Saban said Saturday.
Now that the holiday is over, it’s time to get into the right mindset with the College Football Playoff semifinal matchup with No. 3 Michigan State on Thursday at 7 p.m. from AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
“It’s all about how bad you want something because it’s certainly going to be a difficult game, a tough game and I think you have to prepare for that and have the right mindset in terms of what your expectation is when the game starts, what kind of game it’s going to be,” Saban said.
The team arrived Saturday morning and will practice in the afternoon.
“It’s time to get it now,” senior linebacker Reggie Ragland said. “All the playtime over with. It’s time to get focused on Michigan State, coming out, practicing hard and preparing the right way the whole week so that’s what it’s all about now is getting it done.”
