A University of Alabama student has died, according to the Office of the Dean of Students. The student, Nicolas Cyr, was a freshman from Gurley, Alabama, majoring in aerospace engineering. He died on Dec. 16, and the Office of the Dean of Students received notice on Dec. 18.
Memorial services include a visitation on Friday, Dec. 18 from 5-8 p.m., and a funeral on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m., both held at the Gurley Methodist Church.
