The Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Bama Lanes parking lot on 15th Street around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators are unsure of what led to the altercation.
Sgt. Dale Phillips, unit commander of the Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit, said two male victims were injured in the alley’s parking lot as a result. One, a 21-year-old male, received a gunshot wound to his left leg. A second victim, a 24-year-old male, was hit in his right leg. Both were treated and released from the hospital.
Phillips also said the building itself was hit several times, as well as two unoccupied cars in the parking lot. The investigation is still ongoing.
Bama Lanes is located at 520 15th Street. They were unavailable for comment at this time.
