NEW ORLEANS | Alabama practiced inside the Superdome on Monday in preparation for Thursday’s matchup against No. 4 Ohio State.
The team practiced in shorts, shoulder pads and helmets in the last open practice before the semifinal game.
T.J. Yeldon wears splint
Junior running back T.J. Yeldon wore a splint in practice Monday. He has been limited due to a hamstring injury.
Alabama showcases punting game
Freshman JK Scott and sophomores Alec Morris and Adrian Lamothe practiced punting on Monday. Scott was a finalist for the Ray Guy Award which goes to the nation’s top punter.
