On Thursday around 6 p.m. a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian accident occurred at the crosswalk on the northbound side of Campus Drive, between Hackberry Lane and Shelby Hall.
A student of The University of Alabama was hit by a car while crossing the street. The driver of the car is not a University student and was unharmed. UAPD responded to the scene. Cathy Andreen, director of UA media relations, said the student was “transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment of non life threatening injuries.”
