Police have set up a perimeter around Tutwiler Hall following anonymous threats of gun violence emailed to UA students.
Police placed the Tutwiler dormitory on lockdown and advised students living on nearby Sorority Row to stay in their houses.
The emailed threat was sent to Tutwiler residents and members of the UA greek system under the fictional name Authur Pendragon.
The threat references minorities on campus and the Miss Sorority Row event that took place Friday.
No violence has been reported, and police are currently investigating the threat.
