President Bell responds to student labor group’s demands for Crimson Ride drivers’ rights

University of Alabama President Stuart R. Bell recently responded to a letter drop from Students for Fair Labor (SFL) that occured on April 3. The aim of the letter was to demand better wages, hours and health benefits for campus bus drivers employed by First Transit. However, SFL does not think that Bell’s response is enough, and the group has prepared an escalation plan if conditions do not improve.
