With 3:41 left in the game and on the Alabama 13, LSU quarterback Joe Burrow dropped back and threw a pass over the middle of the field towards the back of the end zone. Instead of hitting receiver Jonathan Giles, he found linebacker Mack Wilson, completing the 29-0 shutout against No, 3 LSU.

No. 1 Alabama steamrolled No. 3 LSU 29-0 for its ninth win of the season. It was the highest margin of victory on either side since the Crimson Tide defeated the Tigers 31-0 in 2002.

Women’s basketball competes in second exhibition

The Alabama women’s basketball team played their second and final exhibition game of the preseason against Mississippi College. The game was Alabama and Mississippi College’s first time playing each other in 31 years, and the first ever exhibition game between the two.

Ben Fuller aims to break into starting lineup

As Ben Fuller’s golf ball rolled over the edge of the hole and fell in, the buildup from a year of frustrations, disappointments and lonely weekends melted away into relief.  The Alabama sophomore had birdied the third hole of a playoff to clinch a spot in the Crimson Tide’s starting lineup for the first time. While his good friends and fellow sophomores Wilson Furr and Davis Shore started eight and 11 of the team’s 12 tournaments last year, Fuller remained in Tuscaloosa for all 12.

Women’s basketball searching for consistency

Alabama women’s basketball is preparing for its second exhibition match of the preseason against Mississippi College. Last week, the team defeated Faulkner 100-44. In a game where the Crimson Tide had five different players in double digits and showed depth on the bench outscoring Faulkner’s bench 51-23, but that wasn’t the case during practice. The team's bench lacked consistency.
