Homecoming committee applications due March 5
The SGA Homecoming office is now looking for new committee members to begin planning for next semester. If selected, each committee member will work under an Associate Director to organize an event during Homecoming Week. Applications are available in the SGA office, and they are due to the SGA office by March 5 at 4:45 p.m. Applications can also be sent to [email protected].
Accepting applications for student art exhibition
Enter artwork in the Undergraduate Student Juried Exhibition. This undergraduate competitive exhibition is for all UA students. The juror is Clive King. First prize is $300, second is $200 and third is $100. Submission dates are March 8 and 9 in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery. Entry fee is $5 per submission. The exhibition opens on March 23 and runs through April 2 in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery. Application forms are available in 103 Garland Hall. Student photos needed for Capstone Creed Week display
The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership is seeking student photograph submissions for a compilation of work to be featured during Capstone Creed Week, which will take place March 1-5. Students are asked to submit up to 3 photographs depicting the Capstone Creed in action, along with a short paragraph describing what is taking place in each photo, and how it relates to the ideals and values within the Creed.
To be considered for inclusion in this project, photographs must be submitted no later than 4:00pm on Monday to [email protected]. Students whose submissions are accepted will be notified no later than March 3.
Kappa Kappa Gamma holds benefit
Kappa Kappa Gamma is hosting its annual “Kappa for a Kure,” benefiting the American Cancer Society. Kappa will be having a pancake breakfast in honor of Carleton Parnell, a former member. The breakfast will be the Kappa house Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5. Everyone is welcome.

These paid positions all work with programming and assistance for more than 300 student organizations on campus.
