On behalf of T-Town PAWS, I would like to thank the many student volunteers that logged over 300 hours of service helping PAWS move to its new location. Student volunteers, Bama PAWS members, Sigma Pi fraternity members and Greek Week Participants (including Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Sigma Phi and Lambda Chi Alpha) all came together to help PAWS during this transition time.
As you may know, T-Town PAWS is Tuscaloosa’s Animal Welfare Organization. As leaders of a coalition of local animal welfare groups, T-Town PAWS is working toward a no-kill Tuscaloosa community. T-Town PAWS exists because of the kind contributions and volunteer efforts of our local community.
The two-week moving process could not have been accomplished without their help. This is a shining example of what students can do in the Tuscaloosa community. Their commitment will transcend time, benefiting the people and animals of this community for years to come.
Once again, thank you student volunteers for so generously donating your time.
Kayla Anthony is the community outreach coordinator for T-Town PAWS.
