With 11 days remaining before Alabama’s match up with the Duke Blue Devils, the team practiced outside for the second time in the final week of fall camp. Here are our observations of practice:

Senior Anfernee Jennings was at practice but did not partake in individual drills with the OLBs. Terrell Lewis led the group followed by Christopher Allen, Jarez Parks and Ben Davis.

At the ILB position, the pecking order continues to change behind Dylan Moses. Christian Harris was back at practice today but was still limited during the media viewing period. Markail Benton was second behind Moses followed by Shane Lee, Jaylen Moody and Ale Kaho. The Crimson Tide also worked on its base defense toward the end of practice. Moses and Lee were paired together while Lewis and Allen took the first reps at OLB.

In the secondary, Trevon Diggs and Patrick Surtain were the two outside corners with Jared Mayden and Xavier McKinney  in their normal positions at safety. Josh Jobe, who has taken snaps as with first-team as an outside corner, was paired with Jalyn Armour-Davis in the second-team base defense.

D.J. Dale, who continues his road to recovery after a knee injury, was lined up at nose tackle between LaBryan Ray and Raekwon Davis.
