PRACTICE REPORT: Starting tight end returns from injury
August 7, 2019
Alabama continued its first week of fall camp inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on Wednesday afternoon. Here are our observations from the media viewing period:
Redshirt junior tight end Miller Forristall was at practice and fully involved, leading the rest of the group in passing routes. It was Forristall’s first time practicing during fall camp, having sustained a foot injury during the summer. Major Tennison was next in the sequence after Forristall.
Sophomore cornerback Josh Jobe was back in a normal, crimson jersey after wearing a black, non-contact jersey and riding a stationary bike during the media viewing period on Tuesday. The viewing period lasts for about 15 minutes, so it’s not clear how much Jobe practiced on Tuesday.

The running back group continues to be led by juniors Najee Harris and Brian Robinson Jr. They started off running simple routes and practicing handoffs with the quarterbacks, then moved to individual footwork and agility drills.

DeVonta Smith and Henry Ruggs III were the first pair of outside receivers in passing drills. Tyrell Shavers and Slade Bolden were the second and John Metchie and Xavier Williams were the third.
